Working on different stages of projects mainly for ‘Essex County Council’ involving maintenance and refurbishment of existing bridges and providing preliminary/detailed design of new bridging structures. Also, mentoring second year Civil Engineering students of Anglia Ruskin University, acting as SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) Champion and Environmental Coordinator. 2003-2008 | Bridge Design Engineer, Design Team Leader | Hexa Consulting Engineers Ltd

Preliminary/detailed design of some important prestressed/reinforced concrete and box-girder highway/railway bridges especially for ‘Iran Ministry of Roads and Transportation’ (2003-2008); design supervision and leadership of a team of five structural engineers and three draftsmen as well as direction of IT Department of the firm (2007-2008). Dezful 5th Bridge

Project: Design and supervision of the 5th bridge of Dezful over Dez River

Client: Municipality of Dezful

My responsibility: Detailed design of superstructure

Structural system: Precast post-tensioned prestressed concrete segmental bridge built by the balanced cantilever method

Spans: 28.35+9x45.30+28.35m (totally 464.40m)

Sanjar Bridge

Project: Design and supervision of a bridge over Sanjar highway in Dezful

Client: Municipality of Dezful

My responsibility: Detailed design of structure

Structural system: Precast post-tensioned prestressed concrete segmental bridge

Span: 45.0m

Jolfa Bridge

Project: Design of a bridge over Aras River connecting autonomous republic of Naxçivan to Azerbaijan of Iran

Client: Boundary Terminals Organisation of Iran

My responsibility: Detailed design of structure

Structural system: Precast reinforced concrete beams made composite and continuous by an in-situ slab

Spans: 11 variant spans between 20.74m to 24.01m (totally 250.62m) divided to 3 segments of 3-4 spans by two expansion joints

Mond 3rd Bridge

Project: Design and supervision of the 3rd bridge over Mond River in Bushehr

Client: Roads and Transportation Organisation of Bushehr

My responsibility: Detailed design of structure

Structural system: In-situ cast reinforced concrete continuous frame with precast reinforced concrete beams

Spans: 28x25.0m (totally 700.0m) divided to 7 continuous frames by expansion joints

Mianeh-Bostanabad-Tabriz Railway Bridges

Project: Design and supervision of Mianeh-Bostanabad-Tabriz double track railway involving 8 bridges over valleys of 30.0-50.0m depth

Client: Iran Ministry of Roads and Transportation

My responsibility: Project management, control and detailed design of 8 bridges under both execution and service actions

Structural system: Precast steel continuous box-girders made composite by an in-situ reinforced concrete slab and built by launching method (this project is one of the first bridges built by launching method in Iran)

Spans: 30.0 to 40.0m

Bridges of Second Runway of Chalus-Noshahr Bypass

Project: Design and supervision of three bridges of second runway of Chalus-Noshahr bypass

Client: Iran Ministry of Roads and Transportation

My responsibility: Preliminary studies

Proposed structural system: In-situ cast reinforced concrete continuous frame with precast reinforced concrete beams

Spans: 2x30.0m (totally 60.0m each bridge)

Project: Design and supervision of km 32+500 junction of Kermanshah eastern bypass

Client: Iran Ministry of Roads and Transportation

My responsibility: Detailed design of structure

Structural system: In-situ cast reinforced concrete voided slab made continuous with abutments

Span: 30.0m

My responsibility: Preliminary studies

Span: 15.0m (skew length)

Project: Design and supervision of a grand bridge over Chalus River

Client: Iran Ministry of Roads and Transportation

My responsibility: Detailed design of superstructure

Structural system: Precast post-tensioned prestressed concrete beams made composite and continuous by an in-situ slab

Span: 8x40.0m (totally 320.0m)

Project: Design and supervision of Saveh-Hamedan km 60+560 interchange

Client: Iran Ministry of Roads and Transportation

My responsibility: Preliminary studies of bridges over three rivers, i.e. Delian, Sour and Joushan

Proposed structural system: Precast reinforced concrete beams made composite and continuous by an in-situ slab

Span: nx25.0m

Project: Design and supervision of Chabahar-Fahraj single track railway

Client: Iran Ministry of Roads and Transportation

My responsibility: Preliminary studies of seven bridges and culverts including hydraulic analysis

Proposed structural system: Precast post-tensioned prestressed concrete beams made composite and continuous by an in-situ slab

Span: nx25.0m

Structural Engineering Team Leading

My responsibility: Managing a team of five structural engineers and three draftsmen

Participation in Directing the IT Department

My responsibility: Supervision over the network of Hexa's new building, website design and installation, the firm automation, design and management of the IT department policies, and architecture of engineering software's developed at Hexa Consulting Engineers
